Sweet Mitten Dreams is located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. We service Rochester, Oakland, Auburn Hills, Macomb, Sterling Heights, Utica, Troy, Birmingham, and Bloomfield. We would like to share common questions that are asked by clients below. 

Teepee Tent Rental Questions

Q: What are the measurements of a Sweet Mitten Dream's tent? 

A: 4 ft (H) X 3 ft (L) X 3 ft (W) 

Q: What are the measurements of the mattresses you use for sleepover parties?

A: The mattresses are 36 in width x 63 in length.  We do have larger mattresses upon request.

Q: How long are the Sleepover Party Rentals for?

A: Typically 24 hours (overnight). 

Q: What age is best for a teepee tent party versus a glamping party? 

A: We find that the best age for our teepee tent rentals are 4 years- 11 years.

Q: When do you set up for the party? 

A: We start our deliveries by 8:30am and like them to be finished by 3pm. We discuss our delivery schedule with each client and finalize our delivery the week of your event. 

Q: How do I book this type of party? 

A: Once we have determined and finalized a date, we email you our next steps booking form and deposit link. 

Q: How much is the deposit to secure a date? 

A: $100 is required to secure a teepee tent party. It can be paid via Paypal or credit card via our website. 

Q: What happens if something is damaged while being rented? 

A: We provide all of our clients with a terms and conditions document listing out the charges for any damage while in your possession. 

Outdoor Glamping Questions

Q: When is this experience offered?

A: This is a seasonal experience offered from April-October. 

Q: What is your cancellation policy? 

A: We provide a full refund should a cancellation occur due to weather. If someone becomes ill or you are no longer able to host the party, we do provide a full refund as well. Should you order an add on via a third party, you will be responsible for any payment incurred and adhere to their policies in place. 

Q: What set up styles do you have? 

A: We have two set up styles. A boho lounge and sleepover set up. The boho lounge has more seating options and includes our Michigan snack cart and Jenga game. The sleepover set up (6-7 beds comfortably) with twin beds including sheets, blankets, and decorative pillows. 

Q: How many people can fit under the tent? 

A: Up to 10 people at the same time. 

Q: How much space do I need for the tent? 

A: The tent is 16 feet wide. We need up to 25 feet of space to secure the tent to the ground. It is best to place this tent on a flat grassy surface. 

Q: I have a smaller yard, can the tent go on my driveaway or patio? 

A: Yes, we are able to secure the tent with weights on concrete, turf, patios, etc. 

Our Outdoor Movie Experience Questions

Q: What is the size of the screen? 

A: 13 feet by 8 feet; the screen is 20 feet diagonally. 

Q: How much total space will I need for this screen? 

A: You will need 16 feet.

 Q: How do we select a movie? 

A:  An Amazon Fire Stick is included with remote- can easily connect to Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video, Youtube, Nintendo Switch.. Etc.  with a wireless internet connection.

Q: Do you provide a speaker? 

A: Yes, An External Speaker  is also supplied for better audio outside.  (Bluetooth capable)

Q: Do you provide the external cords or do we? 

A: We will provide the outdoor extension cords.

Q: Is the Screen blower loud? 

A: The blower motor stays on during the movie to keep the screen up-  It is a very light sound and you will not hear it during the movie.

Q: What does the set up process look like? How long does it take?

A: We will set up the screen, make sure it is connected to the internet and show you how to work all the features. It takes us about 30 minutes to set up the screen.

Q: What is the lounge area? 

A: The lounge area includes our outdoor rugs, ottomans, pillows, blankets, lanterns, and string lights. This does have an additional cost of $200 if you would like this to be set up. It seats up to 12 but we can provide more seating if requested. 

Q: What is the typical movie start time? 

A: Best time for movie watching will be once the sun starts to go down. Video during the daytime is very light and not recommended for this set up.
